The work we carry out wouldn’t be possible without continued support from people like you – thank you so much!
On this page, you’ll find a guide on some ways you could support us. If you’d like any further information or support in your fundraising efforts then please contact fundraising@calvert-trust.org.uk or phone us on 01598 763221.
Every year, we need to raise vital funds that:
- provide bursary support to guests with disabilities who would not be able to visit us without financial assistance
- maintain and upkeep our incredible facilities
- help to replace any vital equipment that has lived its full life and is essential to the work we do
- cover the ‘bednight funding gap’ – the gap between the subsidised rate that guests pay to stay and the true cost of them staying. As a charity, we keep our tariffs affordable for guests, but this means we have to fundraise the funding gap.
- cover other core costs across the centre such as energy bills, vet bills for our horses, salary and training costs of our incredible staff and more…
As a charity, we fundraise to subsidise the rate we offer to guests, so they don’t pay the full cost of a break. With inflationary centre costs, and the impact the cost-of-living crisis is having on guests being able to afford a break, we are having to raise even more funds to cover this gap, as well as to update activity equipment, invest in the estate and provide a bursary scheme.
You can rest in the knowledge that 100% of every £1 you fundraise will go directly towards our vital work.
However you decide to help, our supporters tell us that dedicating time to raise money for Calvert Exmoor is highly rewarding. You’ll be part of something incredible and feel a sense of pride in helping people with disabilities fulfil their potential.
