Spooky activities and outdoor thrills
This Halloween-themed weekend is packed with activities that thrill, challenge, and entertain all ages. There’s something for everyone, from ghostly tales around the campfire to adrenaline-pumping zip lines.
Your schedule:
Friday, arrival
- Arrive in the afternoon – bedrooms are available from 4pm
- Enjoy your evening meal from 6pm
- Meet your Course Director and Reception team, who will be your points of contact throughout
Saturday and Sunday, two days of activities
- Hot breakfast at 8.30am
- Morning activity session at 10am
- Lunch at 1pm
- Afternoon activity session at 2pm
- Dinner at 6pm
- Evening entertainment from 7.30pm
Activities could be:
- Paddle on the reservoir: Don’t miss the last chance of the year to take to the reservoir in canoes. As the mist rises off the water, you’ll feel the eerie calm of this stunning location.
- Campfire & Spooky Stories: Gather around the crackling campfire as part of our campcraft activity. Toast marshmallows under the trees and swap ghost stories—you may even hear the whispers of long-lost souls that haunt these grounds.
- Accessible Bike Rides: Journey around the reservoir on our range of accessible bikes, soaking in the crisp autumn air and the breathtaking beauty of North Devon’s landscapes. With Exmoor and Dartmoor on the horizon, you’ll feel a sense of wonder as you ride through the picturesque setting.
- Zip Wire & Abseiling: If you’re looking for a thrill, challenge yourself with a hair-raising zip wire ride or a spine-tingling abseil down the Calvert cliff. Feel the rush of excitement as you push your limits!
Evening entertainment:
- Fancy-dressed-themed disco: An opportunity to dance the night away with your favourite tunes and make new friends with fellow guests.
- Spooky Crafts: After a day of adventure, wind down with a fun-filled evening of spooky crafts. Create eerie decorations and Halloween-themed keepsakes to take home, while enjoying the company of others under the soft glow of candlelight.
Monday, time to wave goodbye

The per-person price for this break between the advertised dates is £355.
This price is all-inclusive of accommodation, all meals, activities and use of the facilities as outlined above.
