25th Birthday Appeal
To celebrate our 25th year we would like to raise £250,000 – but we need your fundraising help!
Calvert Trust Exmoor has been severely affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
We first closed when the pandemic hit in March 2020 and the centre has remained shut apart from a few weeks in September and October. It is thought that over £1 million has been lost in income.
Generous grants, donations and fundraisers have helped support us through the pandemic, yet the charity continues to struggle and we will be financially hindered for years to come.
Andrew Laming, Centre Director for Calvert Trust Exmoor, said: “On the 7th of April 2021, Calvert Trust Exmoor marked 25 years of service, but for a while, it seemed like we wouldn’t reach this milestone.
“The major concern right now is that without help, we will continue to struggle. We’ll carry on, but it will be tough.
“Which is why we are asking you to fundraise during our 25th year to help see us through and beyond the pandemic. If any individuals or families or groups would like to fundraise for the charity, now is the time to do so!”
