Set around a secure and pretty courtyard, our comfortable accessible accommodation includes en-suite single, twin and triple rooms, and apartments. Our friendly chefs freshly prepare three delicious hot meals a day for you to enjoy, and specialise in meeting your dietary requirements. Self-catering is also an option. In the evening you can relax in our pool, Jacuzzi or sensory room, enjoy beautiful views from the Acland room veranda, or make use of the TV room.
Our facilities are accredited by the Visit England National Accessible Scheme, and we have a wide range of adaptive equipment available to make your stay with us more comfortable. You can find lots more information about our accessibility on our website
Accommodation
Bedrooms
We have 21 en-suite guest rooms, split into single, twin and triple bedrooms. The rooms feature single beds, with electric beds in several rooms, and en-suite level entry shower rooms with toilet facilities.
Ground floor rooms (numbers 1-10) open onto the courtyard, the first floor rooms are accessed via a corridor. All of our bedrooms are accessible, and several also feature h-track ceiling hoists, and mobile hoists are available for other rooms. Apartments
We also have four apartments comprising a kitchen, sitting room with TV and either a bathroom or a shower room. The apartments can be hired on a fully- or self-catered basis.
Bray Apartment & Lyn Apartment
Both sleep four people, situated on the ground floor with two bedrooms; one with two single beds and one single bedroom. There is also a pull-down bed in the lounge. The shower room is wheelchair accessible.
Kinsford Apartment
Sleeps four people, situated on the upper floor with two bedrooms; one with three single beds and one single bedroom. This apartment is not wheelchair accessible.
Heddon Apartment
Sleeps seven people. Ground and upper floor, with Stannah stair lift over stairs. Single bedroom and bathroom on ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs; one with four single beds and one single bedroom. It also has a pull-down bed in the lounge. Both the wet room and shower room are wheelchair accessible.
Watersmeet Building
The Watersmeet building is separate from our main building accommodation, located with the Sports Hall, near the indoor riding arena. You can find it at number 26 on our map of the centre.
Watersmeet sleeps six people in total, in two separate rooms; one a twin and the other sleeping four. Both rooms are on the upper floor, with lift and stairs access. Each of the rooms has a separate wheelchair accessible wet room.
