Set around a secure and pretty courtyard, our comfortable, accessible accommodation includes en-suite single, twin and triple rooms and apartments. Our friendly chefs freshly prepare three delicious hot meals a day for you to enjoy and specialise in meeting your dietary requirements. Self-catering is also an option. In the evening, you can relax in our pool, Jacuzzi or sensory room, enjoy beautiful views from the Acland room veranda, or make use of the TV room.

We have 21 en-suite guest bedrooms, split into single, twin and triple bedrooms. The rooms feature single beds, with electric beds in several rooms, and en-suite level entry shower rooms with toilet facilities. Each room will have 1, 2, or 3 single beds, plus a wardrobe and a small chest of drawers next to each bed.
All bedrooms are accessible and can be reached via step-free access. First floor rooms are accessed via a well-lit, carpeted corridor with handrails. Ground floor rooms (numbers 1-10) are accessed via an enclosed, paved courtyard, where you can also access the courtyard garden.
How are Our Bedrooms Adapted?
All of our bedrooms are accessible, and several also feature h-track ceiling hoists, and mobile hoists are available for other rooms. Rooms can include shower chairs, commodes, bed blocks, mattress elevators, cot sides, and trembler pads, and some rooms have profiling beds. All rooms have en-suite level entry shower rooms with toilet facilities, vinyl flooring and are evenly lit with overhead and wall lighting.
All rooms are fitted with Menvicall alarms linked to reception during the day and to the on-duty instructor in the evenings. The bedroom doors are at least 850mm (33.5 inches) wide, light and easy to open.

We also have four apartments (Bray, Lyn, Heddon & Kinsford), which have the same features as the bedrooms, plus a kitchen, a sitting room with a TV and either a bathroom or a shower room. The apartments can be hired on a fully- or self-catered basis.
How are Our Apartments Adapted?
Bray sleeps four people – it is situated on the ground floor with two bedrooms; one with two single beds and one single bedroom. There is also a pull-down bed in the lounge. The shower room is wheelchair accessible. The kitchen sink in this apartment has an adjustable height for wheelchair users.
Lyn sleeps four people – it is situated on the ground floor with two bedrooms; one with two single beds and one single bedroom. There is also a pull-down bed in the lounge. The shower room is wheelchair accessible. The kitchen sink in this apartment has an adjustable height for wheelchair users.
Kinsford sleeps four people – it is situated on the upper floor with two bedrooms; one with three single beds and one single bedroom. This apartment is not wheelchair accessible, as the only entrance is via a flight of stairs.
Heddon sleeps seven people across two floors, with a Stannah stair lift over the stairs. There is a single bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs; one with four single beds and one single bedroom. It also has a pull-down bed in the lounge.
Both the wet room and shower room are wheelchair accessible, with an H-track ceiling hoist and shower trolley downstairs and a roll-in shower room upstairs. The kitchen sink is height adjustable for wheelchair users.
Watersmeet sleeps six people in total in two separate rooms; one a twin and the other sleeping four. Both rooms are on the upper floor, with lift and stairs access. Each of the rooms has a separate wheelchair-accessible wet room.
The Watersmeet building is separate from our main building accommodation, located with the Sports Hall, near the indoor riding arena. The Watersmeet building is approximately 50 yards away from the main building, the other side of the car park, and is reached via tarmac paths. You can find it at number 26 on our map of the centre.
