Accessibility and disability

As one of the few accessible activity centres in the UK, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer our services to everyone, regardless of ability.

Accessibility at Calvert Exmoor

Our mission involves us having stringent accessibility policies, insurances and an array of accessible equipment from which you, our guests, can benefit. If you'd like a more detailed explanation, you can download our Accessibility Statement from this page.

Activity equipment

The best way to check what equipment we have to help you take part in our activities is by heading to each activity’s individual page. There, you’ll find a list of the accessible gear we use and descriptions of how the activity will run depending on needs and abilities.

To give you an idea of what kind of gear we have, see the list below:

  • Accessible ‘Trigger bow’ in archery
  • Optional accessible seating in canoeing
  • A wide variety of accessible bikes
  • An accessible carriage for wheelchair users in our Equestrian Centre
