A corporate partnership with Calvert Trust Exmoor is a great way to enhance staff morale, giving an opportunity to motivate whilst improving working relationships. Supporting a charity is also shown to be fun and can promote creativity amongst workers.
How your company can help
There is a selection of ideas below on how your business and employees can support us, but we are open to suggestions so please feel free to approach us with any other ideas you may have.
Volunteering
Calvert Trust Exmoor relies on the help and support of volunteers to provide a better service for our guests, and there are opportunities for individuals and groups. Why not organise a team of employees to work on a group project at the Centre? For example, you could redecorate a room in the centre, help with landscaping, or organise and run an event on behalf of the Trust. Please see our Volunteers page for more information.
Charity Partner
Adopt Calvert Trust Exmoor as your Charity of the Year or chosen charity, and our dedicated team will help support you through the partnership.
Fundraising is a great way to bring your staff together and can improve personal development and team building. It is a clear indication of your company’s commitment to the local community, which can improve customer and client relations. Companies can further motivate their staff to get involved by offering to match their efforts.
If employees don’t have the time to organise a fundraising event, they could always take part in someone else’s, such as the London Marathon or a local fun run.
A donation in lieu of other activities is also a good way to raise money. For example, instead of sending each other Christmas cards employees could make a donation.
Even something as simple as putting one of our collecting tins in your reception area would be of great benefit.
Customer Donations
If you have a business that deals directly with the public, why not ask customers if they would like to add an optional donation to their bill, or if they would like to round up their bill to the nearest pound, which will be donated to Calvert Trust Exmoor?
Employee Donations
Payroll Giving is a tax efficient scheme that allows you to make regular donations to Calvert Trust Exmoor straight from your salary – and because your donation is taken out before tax, a £10 a month donation will actually only cost £8. A regular donation gives us some extra security and enables us to think and plan further ahead. More information on payroll giving is available on the HMRC Website
Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsorship is a great way to promote your products and services whilst supporting Calvert Trust Exmoor. There are plenty of opportunities from overall sponsorship of one of our events, to sponsoring one of our ponies or a piece of activity equipment at our Centre.
Give a ‘Gift in Kind’
Give something other than money! You could donate a prize for us to auction or raffle at a fundraising event, or offer us pro bono professional services such as printing, or advertising space.
If you’d like to talk through any ideas or find out more, please contact our Events & Corporate Fundraiser teams on: 01598 763221, or via email at fundraising@calvert-trust.org.uk.
We would like to thank our current corporate partners: Brend Hotels, Isca Barum and Saunton Sands Car Park.
We have also received important support and donations from: Atlas Packaging, Barker Morris, Nationwide.
