At Calvert Trust Exmoor, we do things differently. We believe it’s what you CAN do that counts and that experiences should be shared whatever your age or ability. So everything here is designed and equipped with a full range of needs in mind. From our accessible accommodation to our multi-skilled activities staff, we’ve thought of everything so that all you have to do is enjoy time together in a safe and supportive environment.

Activities to do
We offer a whole range of group adventure activities that can be tailored and adapted to meet each person’s needs and ensure that everyone is included. One morning, you could be shooting some archery with your group, taking turns whizzing down the zip wire, or paddling canoes around the beautiful Wistlandpound Reservoir. Later, you might go for an exhilarating cycle ride around the lake together on one of our fleet of specialist adapted bicycles (which includes hand cycles, recumbent bikes, side-by-side tandems and wheelchair front-loaders). The next day, you might spend some time in our stables, riding together or driving a horse-drawn carriage. Or, perhaps you’ll be climbing one of our rock walls together. Chair users can even go abseiling in a wheelchair at Calvert Trust Exmoor!
